We built Jornado because travel planning had become exhausting — endless tabs, biased reviews, and generic AI responses that sound like a Wikipedia summary. There had to be a better way.

The problem with how travel works today

If you've planned a trip recently, you know the drill. You open twelve tabs. You read a "Top 10" article that was clearly written by someone who never visited. You scroll TripAdvisor filters. You click a hotel ad that turns out to be $300 more than the page said. You ask a chatbot and get a response that's technically correct but completely unhelpful.

Meanwhile, the stuff that actually makes a trip memorable — the family-run restaurant two streets over from the tourist square, the best time of day to see the Alhambra, which neighborhood to stay in if you hate crowds — is buried under sponsored content and SEO noise.

What Jornado does differently

1. It's conversational, not transactional

Most travel sites want you to fill out a form and click "Search." Jornado is a conversation. Tell it you have five days in August, a $1,500 budget, and you hate crowds — it'll respond like a friend who actually travels. Ask follow-up questions. Change your mind. Get real opinions, not algorithmic suggestions.

2. It speaks your language — literally

Type in Spanish, you get Spanish. French, Japanese, Arabic, Portuguese, Mandarin — any of 100+ languages. Most travel AI assumes you speak English. We think that's backwards. Travel is global, so your planner should be too.

3. Recommendations with opinions

Jornado isn't afraid to say "skip that tourist trap, go here instead." It's been trained on travel writing, local blogs, and firsthand accounts — not just Wikipedia summaries. Expect specific recommendations: actual neighborhood names, real restaurant names, honest timing advice.

4. Bookings with real prices

When you are ready to book, Jornado helps you continue to external travel sites with your dates and destination already organized. No clutter, no account required, and no extra fee from Jornado.

What we don't do

• We don't require an account. No signup, no email, no credit card to start chatting.
• We keep chat lightweight. Messages are used to generate responses through a secure AI endpoint and are not stored in a Jornado chat database.
• We don't sell your data. We have no data to sell.
• We don't show ads. The interface is the product.
• We don't pretend to know everything. Always verify critical details (visas, hours, health advisories) with official sources.
